I guess I ain't as strong as I wished I was. I thought I had already gotten over u...lol i had to excuse myself twice from Kathy to use the washroom. Lol I think the waiters thought we were 2 ex lovers meeting up and I couldn't get over her la. lol.

It was kinda silly, and I resolve to be stronger without sacrificing my feelings or memories of u.

Congrats on graduating! You are jus taking another step closer to fulfilling God's awesome plans for you!

Really super happy for ya. I saw ur pics (and even "liked" one of them to show u I saw them), and well, words really cannot describe how happy I am for ya!

I remember us chatting and u sharing some disappointments ya feel regarding ur grades. I know deep down inside you still do. Thats why I posted this pic on our folder and here to remind you that it's not how you score for ur grades, but how you use it in the future for our Father.

I am really really, proud of ya. I read ur blog so I know its been a rough couple of yrs...but hey! You did it! And u will always be a shining example for me.

Yes yes yes.

You can call me the teenage heartbreaker. Gosh. We can safely conclude that she either:
A) has developed a crush on me
B) has grown too dependently on me for support and company.

If you were here...I can imagine us laughin and poking fun at one another over this. I mean...me? I'm not Tom Cruise...heck im not even Tom Hanks. Lol.

On a more serious note, I think we both agree that she has to grow up, and the only way to do that is to limit our time spent tgt. I really need to meet new friends and gain new perspectives, while she has to find her direction in life. I included an exchange we had today while I was lookin for dinner company and she offered to ea with me. My answer was pretty sweet and to the point yea? That's when her emo Facebook post came in. Lol.

And oyea. We did our blood donation thing tgt. Sort of. I was sorta distanced the whole time, and sorta only reacted when some nurses took interest in my robot and my photography. One nurse even flirted around and asked me to whatsapp her a pic I took of her and the robot. (I gently declined and told her I could easily use her Hp and take an equally nice pic with it with just one arm. And I did. Crisis averted. Apparently the ring really is a good prop. I won't be taking it down too soon though.)

And well. Here is me from Singapore sending u my prayers, and tellin u that despite the temptations to use the small girl as a "substitute" for u, I didn't. That I honestly like this feeling of misery...that this is what it means miss someone.

Dear Blog,

Its been awhile since we met, and I have to say I was 1 step from totally forgetting you. If not for the fact i was springcleaning my email accounts and SAW you....you would have been totally....deleted into cyber trash.

Now...why would I make a foray back into this old dinosaur? I had already mastered the skill of micro blogging aka twitter...compressing all my thoughts into 100 characters and less....why bother coming here? Cos i guess...there are just some things I cant just summarize. Maybe I just need a...formal "document" in case anything happens to me (undiagnosed brain cancer, heart failure, sudden death etc)....that this place becomes my final will and testament. That a....unique individual by the name of Jansen Sng once existed...

Anyway it took something momentous for me to come back to blogging. Its no other than....L O V E!!! Okok. Maybe that was just too....ostentatious. But the past 3 days were like hell. I mean...i practically cried almost every day, every time some stupid song came up, or when i saw couples walking by....or even when i close my eyes...i swear i could smell her hair, and see the outlines of her face... its like details of her were etched deeply into my brain....(note to self: need to remind myself NOT to watch Twilight...i feel like Swan when Cullen left her lah...)

It took another chance viewing when I was looking thru my old movie clips when I saw Hitch. I cried and cried at that silly rom-com...when suddenly these words came up....

Albert: You know, honestly, I never knew I could feel like this. You know? I swear I'm, I'm going out of my mind. It's like I want to throw myself off of every building in New York. I, I see a cab and I just wanna dive in front of it because then I'll stop thinking about her.

Hitch: Look, you will. Just give it time.

Albert: That's just it. I don't want to. I mean, I've waited my whole life to feel this miserable. I mean, and if this is the only way I can stay connected with her, then... well, this is who I have to be.

It dawned on me....getting hurt does not necessary mean its a bad thing. In fact...looking at it positively...all of these experiences taught me that...there can be someone out there who could like my silly nerdiness, my ability to quote movies and provide instant documentaries on books as well as movies, my poor taste in choices of fashion...someone who could fully accept me for who i am. The only reason Im shedding tears is cos it took me so long to find someone like you...and while separation is tough...these tears only show me just how precious u are to me. That this was no summer fling. That every thing...was so real...that when u left, u really, really took a part of me with you.

I thank you for that, cos I have always been a selfish guy. I never believed I knew what love was, til you came along. Thank you.
